I’m in this fb group where people ask for book recs and they’re always so wildly niche and specific like “I’ve got a huge crush on my uncle’s best friend’s brother who’s 48 and I’m 22 and I have a knife kink and I’m an orphan who was abandoned as a baby, and I need recs like this so I can live out the fantasy!” and I’m always like, surely no one will have recs for this incredibly unique situation and then there will be 500 comments like “omg you HAVE to read “Slice Up My Neglected Heart, Old Man” by S.R. Donahue!!”
