@IanColdwater I got the “Engage Plus” and I love them so far. I haven’t used the extra gaskets yet to completely block out sound but have used them in loud spaces or when one of my family members is chewing loudly and I’m obsessed.

Is anyone else having the kind of Monday where you add things to your to-do list that are already complete so you can cross them off?

deeply disturbed and just... in pain hearing about the attack on a trans woman at a mpls light rail station. further hurt to see how young the perpetrators were. violence against trans women starts long before a fist is ever thrown. what we teach kids about gender, matters.

I feel compelled to find something witty to say about this but the only thing I’ve got is “There’s a Possum in the Compost,” children’s book title or a thing that actually happened?

This morning as I was hustling to leave the house I walked to our deck to put some strawberry tops and fruit peels in the compost and there was a live possum in the bottom of the bin. I screamed so loud, I’m surprised no one in my neighborhood stopped over to check on me.
