On May 1 2026 my Base Farmoors collection will be dead. Migrated to Ethereum. So what do you do with a dead collection? Replace the metadata with a "DO NOT BUY" graphic? Lock transfers so people cannot do anything with them? This just takes control of the art somebody else owns. Dreadful. And you thought YOU owned that collectible. I made a better way. A thoughtful solution. So what will we do with those Dead Base Farmoors?

seriously though, i'm only developing on tezos because it's easy and no one else is doing it and i can help out my friends on tezos. developing on ETH is a shitshow because every NFT platform did things differently so it's a huge fucking mess developing on BTC is a shitshow because it's BTC and like 20 years old developing on SOL is maybe interesting but it's all weird milady memes so that whole chain is basically trash

Thank you! You’re really spoiling us with this, and guys in the Rilato chat are very grateful. This thread is probably the most informative piece about the project so far, so you chose the right thing to repost. A lot of people ask me to share more but it’s not that simple because the project is still very new in many ways, and words don’t carry much weight yet. I’m sure you remember the first time you sat down at a computer or picked up an iPhone. It was an unexpected kind of experience. Rilato is similar in that sense. Of course, I positioned it as an NFT project because that’s one of the things I know how to do. But the original idea goes back to 2016–2017, when I was trying to find a way to analyze and visualize the human psyche. Back then, it was more of a research project. Over the years, I gradually moved from research into building an interface, and then into understanding how to use art to express, through images, what we all feel inside. I tested these ideas in my early blockchain projects because I found the right opportunities there. Only now have I arrived at something more complete. So in many ways, this is something new from multiple angles: vision, tools, art, blockchain, and NFTs. It’s all of that, and also something entirely different. We’re just getting started because the core parts of the project will begin to roll out step by step. Tokens will become usable, the interface will move toward launch, and it will gradually grow with all the necessary features and details. But the main goal is to move from a purely conceptual project to something bigger. Maybe it’s like a new kind of computer for exploring emotions and states, or something else entirely that doesn’t even have a name yet. What’s great is that it’s launching in this space, and that NFTs can act as its core and work naturally with it. So everything comes together here in a kind of ideal form, even though the results will feel completely new to the community. There’s a lot of work ahead, and I’m continuing to focus on it. Thank you again for your support. It really gives me energy and the motivation to keep going. 🐈♥️

@scgphotographer I have no doubt it will all come together. But you are right. It will just come at its own pace.

@JestemZero But I think we still have time to improve things. In 2022, practically no one was talking about technical issues in the space, and now there's much more awareness about methods for storing metadata, for example. Everything will fall into place in due time.

What is overlooked is that a lot of people, art collectors but also anybody in general, do not understand the point of owning a digital piece of art. Right click save is a meme but a real hurdle. Unless a collector has an internal justification to spend money on digital art why would they? For this to change that is the key factor.

True. That’s one of the problems. Then, those of us in the NFT space need to understand what a certificate of authenticity means and how to make an NFT one. I say this because simply minting in any way isn't enough. Needs at least immutability and clear information about the artwork and the on-chain part in the metadata.
