@giantdwarf Howdy, my confirmation email for tickets to tonight's @ConcettaCaristo livestream didn't include a link? Nothing in Spam/Junk either. Is there another email closer to the time?

Q6: Do you believe leaders can provide autonomy without losing power themselves? How? Did you witness this during the pandemic? #edureading

@steven_kolber @mattoman71 Thanks. What I spoke about on the pod is addressed in one of the chapters of this book. JCH's video I referenced was a plug for his book.

A reminder that the Australian government could easily support every unemployed person with $500 per week but is choosing not to to keep them in poverty so that they're financially and politically suppressed.

I've been working with students writing on The Castle this week. So many of them perceive the Kerrigan family to be middle class: They own their own home, Dad has his own tow-truck biz, Tracey has a TAFE diploma Markers of working class life have become middle class realities

1) Teachers have already shown how flexible they are 2) We're not resistant to change, we've been asking for change for ages. We are resistant to change for change sake with zero input into it 3) We're already accountable to many stakeholders 4) We accept evidence, not fads

@JoelBSperanza I think the reason most schools choose to stream students is that it makes it easier on the teacher. They feel they can differentiate better.

Why do so many schools stream their maths classes? The research I've seen doesn't seem to support this idea at all.

@aliceleung @Capitan_Typo I am 100%with @aliceleung . There's no need to ruin kids yet; Wait until they are a bit older, say 8-12, use a Murdoch paper, don't have any prizes, and then explain to the children that it's the other childrens fault they have to go without.
