This week, the Riverside Guitar Program and the RMS Rebel Choir performed at the Superior Festivals contest. Both groups did awesome, earned Superior ratings, and had a lot of fun. I’m so proud of all of our hard working and talented Riverside musicians 🧡💙🎶🎸🎤

The Rebel Choir and Piano students did amazing at the YISD Solo & Ensemble Contest today! We took home 11 superior medals, 2 Outstanding Solo awards, and an Outstanding Vocal Ensemble award. I’m so so proud of their courage, hard work, and dedication 🧡💙 🎶 🎹 🎤

Honor Choir helped welcome our incoming 6th graders today and had the opportunity to tell them about our program 🎶 🎤

Found out the substitute next door is a professional musician and pianist. He played some original compositions for my Piano students and taught them a little about improv today. Thank you Mr. Armendariz for sharing your music with us! 🎹 🎶

Started the afternoon with a rehearsal and games with the Ranger Choir, and ended the evening with a great concert! 🎶 🧡💙

John represented the RMS Piano program well at Family Game Night tonight. He was invited to play with the Chamber Orchestra and will be competing with them tomorrow at Pre-UIL! Way to go! 🎵 🎹
