@jflWrites I keep notes for the following while writing a novel: Research (mostly setting and historical technologies) Character details and concepts Chapter/Writing ideas specific to plot or subplot Setting details (time of day, weather, etc.)

The last week has been awesome for Colorado. We had an afternoon thunderstorm most days, which meant lots of rain. Everything turned green. . . . Well, green-er. Colorado is never as lush as out East, South, or West, or England/Europe, or most other places.

Good morning! Been up since 4. I guess going to bed at 10 means instead of waking up at 6, I’m waking up at 4. Oof. Going to try some yoga this morning and hoping to calm my mind.

@AleksandraLeci2 I've rarely re-read books. On second thought, sometimes I reread the previous book in a series to remind myself of the plot/characters before diving into the next one.

I've returned to METAL's sequel for a while. I need a break from the trilogy I'm writing about blowing up Earth. It is such a massive project for my poor brain. Given that people keep requesting the sequel, I feel like I'm past due on it.

1. It's awesome that so many people loved your work so much that they asked for more. That's a huge testament to your incredibleatude. 2. That's the struggle. I'm always drawn to new and shinier stories. I was lucky that I recently had help. I talked to a friend, who helped me through a new outline that has me excited to crank out new words.

@jflWrites I feel bad so many people want the sequel to Bathed in Moonlight but I honestly don’t have it in me to write it.

In case you were wondering, we have definitive proof that it’s a cat. The attraction between key elements and cat ions is too strong to overcome.

@MelRClayton Mmmmm. Our raspberries are growing slowly this year, for some reason. We haven't had any luck with blueberries.
