Have you looked into Brazen? It’s a PvP where producers can add value by following pages of environmental standards for their ranch. I’m assuming this feedlot is Adam’s that buys cattle that are Brazen certified. I had a family member that sold yearlings coming off of grass last year that went Brazen. They are taking the environmental work of the rancher and rewarding it with a premium, but still finishing out cattle at feed yards.

The more I think about this the more it scares me. The top of the industry, stakeholders, leadership, big wigs, whatever you want to call them could have locked arms with all beef producers and pushed back against radical environmentalists…instead they went home and came up with a lie that their beef was better than their neighbors. They have no vision for the future of the industry, only themselves.

So got the boss man a drone for his birthday yesterday. Verdict is out if that was a good idea, he’s already talked about how he’s going to chase barn swallows and deer out of the yard torment the deer hunters game cams, and making sure our young horses are drone broke.

Took a family member to the doctor this morning in CO. I kept pushing the conversation away from pills and wanted the doc to visit about exercise, diet, and hydration. She recommended looking up this guy to follow for diet tips. 1. That’s not the image I was going for and 2. Doc found out pretty quick that we were ranchers.
