Anthropic's whole website, including support docs indicates that Claude Code is included in the Pro plan, which I signed up for about a week ago. Despite this it only gave me a 7-day free trial. Support is non-responsive. False advertising? @AnthropicAI

@SergeyGultyayev @AnthropicAI This is what I'm gathering. I know they were doing that, but as far as I've read the change to Pro was reverted. Not for me!

@axelroark @AnthropicAI For personal projects the limits were not an issue. Losing access to CC after 1 week is an issue, though.

@jgeigerm @AnthropicAI They have nerfed Claude Code on the Pro plan anyway. 5 hour limits are workable, but the weekly limits are severely restricted and make it useless.

@itsmehatef @AnthropicAI The ~$20 charge on my card says yes. So does their billing page. I never did a trial, I just signed straight up for Pro, since I had some projects I wanted to do.

@GergelyOrosz Exactly. I would understand removing CC from Pro, if it was properly communicated. Plans must evolve as the tech does. The issue I have is that the docs and plan comparisons all say it's included when it is not. I have a problem with false advertising/bait and switch behavior.

As I previously said: Anthropic is on a speedrun to burn developer trust. Nothing wrong with wanting to remove Claude Code from the Pro subs: but everything wrong by running shady growth tests without upfront comms, instead of being clear about it.

@zemnmez @AnthropicAI Might take you up on it; this is more a principle thing than an access thing. If you're gonna advertise a feature, then provide that feature. And I don't think I've ever had a worse support experience. The AI help bot Fin just stopped responding and I can't start a new chat.
