@RealAlbanianPat Why not? Canada clearly now has 2 right of center conservative parties. Poilievre is leading an Alberta based yahoo, convoy hayseed populist party and Carney leads a Bay Street corporate, neoliberal party where profits come before people. Choose your poison.

I'm sorry but Nenshi has to go

Program note: Since Canada's founding in 1867: 'No prime minister has relied on floor-crossing to reach majority status.' Carney will be the first. cbc.ca/news/politics/…

What is it with maple Maga and Brookfield? Is that all they got? Jeesh 🙄

I have yet to see one shred of evidence of the PM or the LPC "bribing" floor crossers. I HAVE however seen a CPC MP rent his seat to Pierre Poilievre, on the agreement that Kurek gets to run for it again, while getting a cushy job in the meantime. Shady backroom deal?🤷

I don't accept the criticism coming from hard partisans of Mark Carney. I repeat: the United States has threatened to invade Canada multiple times over the last year. And they are currently waging an economic war against Canadians that is costing us jobs. Canada is currently in the middle of the worst crisis facing the worst threats we ever have since World War 2. If this isn't a time to put aside our differences and start working together with our political enemies for the best interests of Canada, my God, you need your head examined. Wake up.

If you're a conservative, part of what that means is wanting to protect and preserve institutions that shape us and make us distinct. The Crown is one of those institutions. Embracing a left wing anti colonial, rip everything down view is the opposite of that.

Don Cherry was voted by his countrymen as the seventh-greatest Canadian of all time in 2004. I don’t care what bleeding heart liberals say about Cherry’s comments and any self-respecting Conservative shouldn’t either. To see some Quebec Conservative MPs whine about Cherry’s comments is pathetic and disrespectful to his legacy. If anyone is deserving of The Order and if The Order means anything anymore, Cherry should be nominated. He is the most patriotic Canadian I have ever seen in Canadian media. Nobody with the platform he commanded in Canadian media and popular culture has done more to advocate for Canada’s military and to honour our fallen heroes. He devoted his life to promoting the game of hockey to generations of Canadians. And everything he said about people not wearing the poppy was entirely correct.
