Honestly, life’s wild
&& I figure with the end of this year being the first full year in my 30s
Here’s some things i wish I told myself in my 20s
- No one knows what’s going on, nor has it figured out. Your parents could larp with the best of em
- You’ll see a level of money you’ll never know imaginable at the time. You’ll lose it all, don’t stay in bed so long after you lost it all. You coulda been back on the road to making it all back faster.
- I’m glad you still talk to your closest childhood friends, even tho your lives will drift farther apart. You should still hit them up, the ones who act like time hasn’t passed. Keep em close
- keep trying new shit. You’ll fumble and fall on your face a lot, but the education and experience will help you level up a lot faster
- complacency is the worst thing you can let happen. Step out of your comfort zone more often. You’ll grow faster
- tell your mom you love her more often. You’re doing great now but life is short and time doesn’t stop
- spend your money. You stacked so much and kept trying to compound it that you gave up opportunities for adventure. You’ll get to an age where you enjoy the latter and spend the former but do it sooner. This past year 2024 you had the adventure of a lifetime.
- enjoy life. Once again time doesn’t stop. No matter the situation. Spend more time away from the desk and from work. You haven’t solved this even at 30, but you’re conscious of it.

Live.
Spend money.
Love hard.
