One thing for sure is that we’ll be back better next year!

We took on the challenge of competing in Tier 6 in our first season as an 11s team and it hasn’t worked out but the reflection and lessons learned has definitely improved me as a coach and I hope has improved the players in the squad also

Amidst the number of difficult results throughout the season, against some well established and clinical teams, we’re very much starting to see some optimistic performances that will hold us in good stead going forward.

Accountability isn’t about punishment, it’s about growth. It’s about believing people are capable of a higher standard, and fighting for them to pursue that standard. Call people up, not out.

..not the pupil, we will go a long way to restoring bonds. As teachers, we need to model forgiveness and be the ones to hold out the olive-branch, even though it can at times be painful. Again, there are of course some situations which are much more serious than just this. 11/12.

Finally, one of the barriers I have noticed with building relationships is the idea of teachers holding grudges. I'm not perfect & I cannot speak for every single situation but when we depersonalise sanctions and remember that we are sanctioning the behaviour and...10/12
