@Crewsett @CubicSnarkonia I think the important thing here is those guys aren’t approaching it as fans. It’s as coaches/trainers, where they’re flat out wrong. Training EV/more barrels is absolutely a good thing. It’s an important distinction in the convo.

Being a sophomore in HS and seeing a kid my age be on the cover of SI was surreal. I remember reading about his legendary homers back then and he instantly became my favorite player. Watching him be everything he’s been hyped to be has been so fun. What a swing and what a moment.

Bryce Harper's baseball upbringing was getting flown all over the country to join elite travel teams. He was always the youngest kid. Often, his teammates were jealous of him and even other parents resented his talent. Comparitvely, the NLCS is nothing. x.com/MarcCarig/stat…

I remember Bryce Harper talking to me once about pressure. He said that he's never felt pressure like he did when he was a kid trying to make it to pro ball. Because if he didn't make it he'd be tying rebar in Vegas. Watching him this postseason, I think I believe him.

I am so happy for @Basala22. Not only does he get his first regional title at Sherrard, he gets it while playing at home underneath this scoreboard. They’re all fun, but I know this one was special.
Nobody builds a culture better and that was obvious watching this Regional.
