With respect, Prime Minister , spare us the sales pitch. A Digital ID is not about “empowerment”; it’s about control. You say it will “save time” and “cut paperwork.” We know better. Once in place, it becomes the key to everything. This includes your job, your home, your bank account and all at the mercy of the State’s approval. And when the Central Bank Digital Currency follows (as it surely will), those in power will hold not just our data, but our very means of living.
