This was a close one and @Tesla FSD saved me from an accident. This car used the merging lane to cut off two other cars and I certainly would not have seen it while switching lanes but FSD did and made the right move to get out of the way. I heard a honk as it passed me on the shoulder. AI4 with FSD v14.2.2.5. @wholemars @SawyerMerritt @Tesla_AI

Tesla just saved the day — and my dad’s dignity. My parents were wrapping up a quick visit when chaos hit. Dad was about to head out the door to meet my mom and me at the airport… except he couldn’t find his car keys anywhere. We were already across town in her car, time was ticking, and there was zero chance anyone could loop back to pick him up without missing the flight. Panic set in. Then I remembered… My Tesla was sitting at home. I pulled out the app, remotely unlocked the doors, and hit the start button. Boom. The car was alive and ready, no keys required. Dad hopped in, punched in the airport address, then looked at the screen with a grin and asked the magic question: “Can I use FSD?” 🤣 A few minutes later he rolled up right on time, chilling in the driver’s seat while the car handled the whole drive like a pro. Saved by Tesla, delivered in style by Full Self-Driving. Dad’s new favorite chauffeur? Definitely not me.

@dallasteslaclub Yes, usually happens to me after an OTA update. What I do is reset DAS (Driver Assistance System) through the service mode. It goes away after the reset.

Need FSD advice. Has anyone ever had “low cabin illumination” issues with FSD when supervising at night? I tried to take a buddy on a demo drive tonight and couldn’t get the car to find either of our faces for hands free attention monitoring so it constantly was steering wheel nagging.

Made it home after 1681 miles and 1670 of those miles on Full Self Driving. 99% of the time, the Tesla Model Y drove us to the Smokey’s and white sandy beaches. Total cost to charge: $194 Our own personal chauffeur: $99/month Worth every penny.

Last leg of our 7 day road trip. Leaving Destin to head home with a quick stop at the Florida Capitol. So far FSD has driven us 1324 miles. This is the future.
