To me, it all depends on if we traded any other picks away to move up. If they decide to use all 12 picks in the draft, I don’t see an issue with taking a RB in the 6th or 7th round. But if we have needs elsewhere, and traded picks away, if we’re taking a flyer on someone, it better be a position of need and not luxury

Credit to the #Pirates all around, but it seems clear they didn’t fully understand the PPI situation & we’re ready to announce the signing today & probably have the signing ceremony tomorrow morning. Fortunately somebody figured it out so they could remain draft pick compensation-eligible. Small thing, but appears a bit sloppy.

@Steelers_DB Even if they give him a deadline, and if he does decide to play again, I doubt the general public hears about it until Rodgers wants people to know. He could easily tell the Steelers on April 22nd he’s returning, and us fans may not get an announcement until June again.

Lots of misplaced anger towards Rodgers from the fan base that should be redirected elsewhere. People act like he’s holding the Steelers hostage… no, they’re just the only organization goofy enough to go down this road in back to back offseasons.

One reason I really like Concepcion is just how he performed against top talent on tape. The ND, LSU, South Carolina games are really good tape for a guy who shows he can pretty consistently separate on film. Of the Cooper, Boston, KC tier, I personally like KC the best.

I think Don Kelly tipped his hand with the morning show about Konnor Griffin. Kelly mentioned balancing development with limited minor league career, saying "finding the right time to make it happen." "When that time comes, it's going to be fun." I think Griffin begins in AAA.
