Shinobi can put chakra into their limbs for defense.
It’s silly to think that Naruto characters being able to be cut by sharp, fast, often chakra-enhanced objects = them not having chakra-enhanced durability.

Zuko was falling to his death and (without outside interference) would have died.
Meanwhile, Azula survived all on her own.
She won that fair and square (in spire of the fact she is literally mentally unraveling on screen lmao)

@azulabetter Her decline didn’t start till much later, and even if it didn’t start here. Even if it did, she’s still stable enough, it barely affected her. + she’s bloodlusted, and he’s not.

@AJ_psykos2 I agree that it’s relative, and they could beat each other on any given day. It’s extreme diff either way. But many people are under the assumption that Zuko isn’t on Toph and Katara’s caliber when it’s just not the case.

@ATLienMJ Mfs forget that he matching Azula evenly at the western air temple. This would’ve been after he learned from the dragons. It’s almost as if th story is telling us before this he wasn’t a match for Azula, but after his improvement he can now match his sister.
