@seanmfdineen I skip it when I rewatch the series. Too much. It’s this shot right when she realizes it and knows there’s nothing she can do about it.

@jilldudones Very true. You also had that building dread. I honestly think I skipped it last rewatch. Didn't need the heartache.

@seanmfdineen True… hers was heavier though. Tony was a sociopath. Silvio had a heart.

@jilldudones I was just thinking about Christopher's exit on the show and what an elegantly gruesome matched set of deaths they made.

Going to be doing the Worlds longest flight in a couple of days.... what are good TV shows/series to download for it? I liked Succession and Homeland, didn't like WestWorld, was too clever for me never got into Game of thrones.

@laurenceparkes @tomfgoodwin Sure, but know I can only speak anecdotally from being in the Dentsu network and through a many months’ long interview process at WPP.

@jilldudones @tomfgoodwin Thank you so much for your response. I might come back to you for more insight, at some point, if that’s okay? Very happy to reciprocate if I can!

So many ad agencies are like "We are NOT an ad agency, we solve business problems with imaginative solutions, we don't make advertising, we implement creative solutions, we are management consultants with flair" Then the work they show is all 60 second tv ads

@laurenceparkes @tomfgoodwin Integration across services isn’t working because of the performance metrics each are accountable for; lack of understanding of what other services teams do; poor XFN leadership; “who’s leading this engagement?”confusion across XFN teams; overlap across teams. Just to name a few

Wearing a suit jacket and jeans on stage is the conference version of a mullet; business up top, party down beneath.

@elonmusk We’re mostly hanging on for the real estate we’ve built until followers drop low enough to warrant leaving. I’m just about at rock bottom— my close community of strategists is extinct right now. We’re forming our own networks off Twitter. So long, and thanks for all the fish.

@rorysutherland The best career advice I got was last year from David R at Dentsu/gyro the month he was retiring. Everyone should be able to benefit from this type of unfiltered advice.

Will anyone join me me in launching "The Career Ending Conference." Simple idea: everyone speaking is within six months of retirement, and can say what they really think.

@keano81 Maybe because people just aren’t “empowered” enough to unleash anything? The key is the empowerment…

Love how the word "UNLEASH" is utterly overused in B2B communications. I've been working for almost 20 years and not once have I seen anyone truly unleash anything

@buffalogiu I’d tell them yes only if they can’t possibly do anything else. Then, I’d advise them to get on as many different projects across brands as they could in 2 years so they can get breadth of experience, and then get out.

Stemming from another thread I started, if a young person entering the working world told you they wanted to join am advertising agency, would you encourage them or dissuade them?

@buffalogiu The best is … they are mental health services they’ll never be able to use or even know how to use because they’re too overworked to have the time.

When I see agencies announcing mental health services for their employees my reaction is always: why don't you pay them better, avoid working them 12 hours a day, create a respectful work environment where harassment is punished, instead? Am I being too simplistic?

@JohnnyGWeir What do you mean by final performances? I skate at a club where there are 60- and 70-year-olds still twizzling, lutzing and Bauering. There’s no finaling in figure skating!
