@clhubes I use a small 3 shelved wheeled cart, or my collapsible wagon, and gather everything from the rooms that don’t belong, and return them to their rightful place. Or stick it in my spare room or porch when the cleaner comes.

The thing about reading is that if you do it enough it becomes an addiction. The reading of books is the best cure I’ve found for anxiety. It’s calming and centering. Just the act of letting my eyes glide across a page brings me back to the truest and deepest part of myself.

There are people who ask “what’s the point of reading” and the best answer remains “because it’s FUN.” Fiction is a pleasure. Learning is a pleasure. Reading is not a chore but our greatest escape from the pressures and perils of living.
