All 3 roads out of the district are closed due to slips and fallen trees. While Vaianu is less intense than Gabrielle it has managed to isolate our community once again. But no one who doesn't actually live here cares - especially not the govt

@Paleonut_ Still gale force winds but the rain has eased off a bit. There was even a tiny bit of blue sky for about 10 minutes. We're not out of the woods yet though - the weather warnings are in place for another 9 hours. Anything could happen lol
