I think you are right about “most,” but it’s not an overwhelming “most.” There is a huge chunk of people who would have no problem voting for the new Third Reich if they thought it would hurt the people they want to hurt.

I think the best-kept secret in American politics is: Most people are still normal. They don’t want a civil war, or national divorce, or whatever crackpottery is being peddled by weirdos online. They don’t want to become Hungary. Americans are pragmatists. We like what works.

lots of middle-aged men who think big pants make you look old bc that's what old people wore, so they switched to slim fit pants in the early 2000s, not realizing that slim fit pants makes you look old in 2026 bc they are now the out-of-touch old person in 20 yr old fashion

Tried to run outside today after about 3 months on the gym treadmill.
Problem 1, I overdressed.
Problem 2, legs were like, “What do you MEAN the road doesn’t move under us, pushing us along?? Are you SURE we’ve done this before? This doesn’t seem like something we’d enjoy.”
