If you think someone is deficient in some fruit of the Spirit, by all means pray for them. But maybe you don't need to announce it publicly on social media?

Hot take: Performatively telling people you'll pray for them as a way to insult them on a public platform is kind of gross and it happens way too often on this site all around.

@lancelahnert High school basketball, even in Texas, is not the NBA. Its purpose is not entertainment, it is to teach. Mandating a shot clock wrecks all of that teaching opportunity and creates something that high school athletes simply don’t need. 1/2

I love this illustration, for it shows the popular meaning of "old" as old in time / years, while παλαιός could mean "venerable" or like Syr. ܥܬܝܩ "time-honored."
So next time your friend emphasizes the "old" in The OLD Testament, ask what sense of "old" they mean.
