God slaying, magic, changing the status quo of the realm and thats just facts. Its the same for people who complain about remakes its the dream they would have made if they could.

Keeping in mind 13 was bad, 15 was half finished, 16 was a risk for players the reality is people are seeing how 16 is better after the fact solely cuz of the hate campaign taste aside

@bossabutts @Sonata89 @Genki_JPN On second thought FFXV gets some leeway due to all it’s reported issues in production but to say you get to know them like real people, when theres clear evidence theres a story there but there was supposed to be more but it never came out as intended on its own makes that false

@bossabutts @Sonata89 @Genki_JPN On the flip side the issue is you dont get to know the characters that well at all thats literally what we are talking about. “You get to know them like real people “ no you dont, and thats bad storytelling. You should know what matters early on and that should pay off later

@bossabutts @Sonata89 @Genki_JPN For a story with so many complex relationships I wish the story started earlier in the timeline, established as much as possible and then had a timeskip to the story as it is. Kind of like FFXVI with clive, jill, his family and the soldiers. Two timieskips MUCH more fleshing out

It felt off for a royal family and they barely did anything to fix that up to chap 9 he clearly has meaningful relationships the story relies too much on expecting us to care cuz they tell us

@tatsunok2022 @Tats_Gunso I want to buy it, if it was available I would spend money on this free to play game, I’m spending money on other free to play games. I was too young and when I heard about it it was discontinued. Its more like being punished for not being a fan faster, I do not want it for free

@Sonata89 @Genki_JPN Genuinely feel crazy for thinking that after hearing all the praise it got. Like, “luna, who are you?” Meanwhile, I played AFTER they said things were added that made it better, and I STILL can’t imagine it having worse buildup beforehand.

@Sonata89 @Genki_JPN There are genuine fans but in all honesty I think the same. LikeI was genuinely annoyed at some points when it tried to do something emotional without sufficient build up. By the time of leviathan and Lunas death I was clocked out.

@Genki_JPN FFXV? Lol. Doesn't hold a candle to FFXVI. Couldn't connect to the chars from XV at all because they were so poorly written and the story felt so freaking flat.

@yevonsgate @kettletoro There was ONE glaring problem they had up until and including varkas story thats actually pretty similar to this. Every update included a 15 minute scene where they go over what they were GOING to do. It wouldn't have been a problem ONCE or as traversal dialogue but it was not

@Beldarius @wizkiller96 @Nikol_WIM @kosmicprince Some had issues with some of the replacements argenti for one, I wasnt a fan of tingyuns change, I got used them. Most changes can be avoided by not playing them which was a reasonable option players had. The MC replacement is a downgrade for the character with the most lines

@jimenez_onix @wizkiller96 @Nikol_WIM @kosmicprince Weird how the MC is the only replacement that doesn't fit. The new Argenti, Huohuo, Tail, Tingyun, Moze, Dahlia and Welt are fine in comparison.

I guess the eng vas didnt get the same voice direction as the other studios did bc im sad they dont make a funny sound like the rest do😭. please do not send hate to any vas
