@toniievych @DevelopWoo @WooCommerce Specifically for the 'brands' slug, I think it makes sense for WooCommerce core to use the most fitting slug for this feature and then for plugins to handle potential conflicts and/or consider moving to a different slug. However, happy to consider alternative suggestions :)

Hey @WooCommerce, do you think it's a good idea to force all the merchants to use the new brands feature? Today, one of our big clients has reported an urgent issue that all brand pages has stopped working. After some research, I have found that's because someone in your team decided to use the "brand" slug for the new brand feature. As a result, all the old brand pages implemented using an attribute has stopped working. Which is even more confusing, there is no way to disable this garbage. And yes, the "Remote Logging" option enabled by default after the update allowing you to collect all the data without consent also does not make you look good.

@toniievych @DevelopWoo @WooCommerce As with all plugin updates, it is highly recommended to test them out on a staging site first. On our side, we tested the Brands feature with popular Brands plugins to ensure that there are no fatal errors or data loss when both are active at the same time.

Hi @DevelopWoo looks like you forgot to include the "wc_feature_woocommerce_brands_enabled" filter in your 9.6 release. 😊 30k+ stores that potentially still have the old Brands plugin installed, will get errors.

@PoeHaH @DevelopWoo The reason why this option doesn't show up in GitHub search results is that it is created dynamically, as you can see here: #L125" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/woocommerce/wo…

Starting with Product Add-Ons v7.4.0, you can now define default values for add-ons! 🎉 This was one of the most frequently requested feature for Product Add-Ons, and I’m thrilled to see it live today! 🚀 #woocommerce #addons #productaddons
