🇮🇷 Iran just used Emad missiles against Kuwait. Kuwait shares a border with Iran. The Emad has a 2,000km range. You don't need a long-range ballistic missile to hit your neighbor. So why use one? 3 possibilities: 1. Stockpile depletion. Iran is burning through its precision inventory faster than expected and mixing in whatever is available, regardless of range suitability. 2. Calculated signaling. Tehran wants Israel and the U.S. to see Emads in active rotation, a reminder that these missiles exist and are being used, not preserved. 3. Tactical restraint in reverse. By using Emads on a soft target, Iran keeps its short-range Fateh and Zolfaghar stockpiles cleaner for potential use elsewhere. The choice of missile in a strike tells you more than the strike itself. Iran didn't accidentally grab the wrong weapon off the shelf. Every deployment decision at this level is intentional.
