This week I start a new job at Amsterdam News as a science reporter for their Blacklight Investigative Unit! 🎉 I started my journalism career with the hope of making important health and science issues accessible and engaging to people. It feels surreal to get to do this work.

I’m so grateful the therapy dogs happen to be staying at my hotel which funny enough is called the Comfort Inn. The handlers said they understand journalists have it hard too. They offered me a #cuddlepuddle. Thank you @K9ComfortDogs It really did help! #selfcare #caninelove

@DrSallyChung I'm luckily married to an AAPI LCSW-C, and I've never met one single Asian male colleague all these years. Yet we live in one of the most diverse counties in the U.S. with a significant AAPI population.

@jinkding It’s so hard! If we look at psychologist stats (per APA), then about 5% of US psychologists are AAPI and only about 1% of those identify as men. And there’s no guarantee that they do therapy.
