If Obito Uchiha giving his power to Kakashi Hatake was supposedly just lingering spirit/chakra that faded once his soul passed on… then how did Danzō Shimura spam Izanagi using Sharingan he stole during the Uchiha massacre years after the original owners were dead? Same thing with Itachi Uchiha keeping Shisui Uchiha’s eye functional long after Shisui died. Those were physical transplanted eyes operating off the new user’s chakra system, right? So what exactly made Obito’s situation different? Because if transplanted Sharingan can permanently function through another person’s chakra even after the original owner is dead… then Kakashi losing the DMS immediately after Obito’s soul faded feels inconsistent as hell. Either: • Obito temporarily manifested chakra-made eyes through Six Paths nonsense, or • Kishimoto wrote himself into a corner trying to give Kakashi a legendary final power-up without permanently breaking the scaling. This is one of those Naruto lore moments where the emotional payoff was incredible… but the mechanics start getting real shaky the harder you analyze them.

@StayTofik Hmm, I kinda got the nuance when kid Kakashi/Obito filler started shooting up in between the Shonen. Just made a hypothesis based on this, which was later confirmed when Itachi died and Tobi changed the tone/showed Sharingan. He does reveal the location where he got the eyes, no?

Did you figure out Tobi was Obito and not madara before the reveal? If so, how?

Shadow clones giving back experience is probably the most broken ability in the entire series and Naruto barely abused it

@4th_tsunade Nah.. He has chakra. Almost all shinobi do. It's just that my man has no hunch for Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. The eight inner gates are all about forcing chakra on the limiters to bring out absolute monstrous power.

So how exactly was Kakashi able to perfectly use the full Susanoo immediately? He wasn’t an Uchiha, had never awakened Mangekyō himself, never used Susanoo before, and suddenly he’s flying around with a Perfect Susanoo like a veteran 😭 Was Obito’s chakra really enough to give him full understanding/control of it that fast?

@FlamingForge Without Kurama, Sasuke's genjustsu's gonna be a lethal attack. So, yeah. Sasuke would win here. Naruto isn't good when it comes to countering genjutsu.

Not that we saw it anywhere in the series, but when Madara was resurrected, and he went on the destruction spree we could see how he tapped from Sharingan to Mangekyo to Rinnegan. The process of deactivation would just be reverse imo.

@jojographix001 Fun side apart, doesn't Kushina's chain ejected out during Kurama's chakra steal count as him having the same ability, or does the chain vanish along with Kushina??

@jojographix001 The main purpose of the chain is to suppress the tail beast. That's what Uzumaki was actually hired for in the anime. But, my boy can use his talk-no-jutsu on any beast. So, he doesn't require the chain.

If Naruto was really an Uzumaki, why didn't he manifest the Adamantine Chains like Kushina and Karin?

@oghenetefe Well, the nature of Mangekyo is to destroy the wielder's eyes. We saw it happen to Sasuke and Madara. So, I wouldn't say Itachi's one was an exception. Had Sasuke not impanted Itachi's eye to gain EMS, then I reckon his condition would have been similar. You may be right as well.

@jinmax100 True, but that’s more about countering it externally. The internal cost on his body/eyes from overuse was the hidden self-destruct weakness he never spelled out. That's where I'm driving at.

This theory actually elevates Itachi Uchiha’s entire character to another level. He straight-up told Sasuke Uchiha that every jutsu has a weakness… yet he deliberately kept Tsukuyomi’s hidden. Imagine the psychological and physical toll of casting that god-tier genjutsu on hundreds during the Uchiha massacre… and across countless ANBU missions. Slowly tearing your own eyes and body apart from the inside… while still maintaining the perfect mask of betrayal. No wonder his health collapsed so fast in Naruto: Shippuden. He wasn’t just dying for the village and his brother, he was paying the ultimate price with every illusion he wove. If this was intentional lore… it’s some of the most tragic writing in the series. Respect to kishimoto on this one sha 👏
