Great question! They did see an outflow in Madison as well. This stuff fired along the cold front and largely was stationary over 151 thanks to limited wind shear. Now that the “cold pool” is developing the storms are slowly moving, but with limited upper level support, it’ll get weaker and weaker as it heads east. Lots of cool meteorology tonight though!

@Tom_Wachs Hey Tom, how is it that everything in Dane county and farther west isn't able to shift east? Didn't the out flow pass through and shift south of those areas as well?

Rain totals! Get ya rain totals here! Most of SE WI picked up 1-2" of rain over the last 24 hours. Waukesha county saw the most rain with most of the county between 2-3"! How much was in your rain gauge?
