We still plan to race locally/regionally any time we do not have a FAST race commitment.

3rd place last night at Sharon! Over the moon to be ripping off some fast and consistent finishes since coming back to the seat. Continually giving up spots early but making them all up and more later on.
New track on the docket today as we head to @wcsohio with @AllStarSprints

Glad to see @jjerich3 back in the seat and on the podium 👊🏻

RACE DAY AT @SharonSpdwy!
Who doesn’t love racing on a weekday? The Super DIRTcar Series headlines tonight with 410 sprints being the support class. We are excited to be a part of this event. If you can’t make it to the track, it’ll all be live on @dirtvision.

@dannydietrich Tail tanks are also the single most expensive part on a car except a rear end or engine...To force everyone to convert is not like we are mandating all moly radius rods where cost would be negligible. It would be HUGE
English

@dannydietrich Plus most people when they start out buy a used frame, standard mounts, etc. After a couple years you have 2-3 Saldanas from starting out. That is 5-8k alone you'd have spent already. Only time 33 is needed is for a couple shows. That is a lot of money for most teams to convert.
English

Justin. Two of the biggest problems we've had or do have are... 1st. 33 gallon tanks aren't exactly available. Manufacturers don't and won't keep many on the shelf. 2nd. If you remember not long ago.. tanks were flying off. That's due to the way most 33 gallon tanks mount (ATL/Gravel/Larson style). Not to mention you're talking, say, 500 teams nationwide.. 1500 tanks would need to be supplied. At $4k an assembly.. thats $6,000,000 to make teams spend. Get f+cked on that one. Races are too long. Every track wants to go longer. Meanwhile, Knoxville is 20 laps for a regular show. Tracks... take notes. Our motors make more power then ever. Which means we need more fuel. Kyle Larson being KL last night. He loves to chirp in PA.. and thats great most of the time. But last night. He needed to STFU.

Today on the show, we'll talk about Port Royal, but more importantly, what I think is maybe the dumbest problem in sprint car racing. Tune in! 📺 youtu.be/ggCPa9CveUc 🎧 podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/dai… 📰 dirtrackr.com/daily/1375
English

@LiveDirtUpdates A 28gal Saldana style fits on any standard chassis and is most available. If you want to run a 33gal ATL you either need to order your chassis with different tabs to fit it or cut and weld them yourself in order to mount it. If a 33 had “standard” mounting it would be more common
