@andynewmanlpc Mostly the truth claims fell apart. Once I learned all the source material Joseph used to create the BoM it all came crashing down, coupled with the church leaders (Hinckley for example) saying it all depends on the BoM.

@OaksDallinH I was "the one", when the LDS Church enabled a confessed pedo to abuse me & multiple others.
When I asked the church abt this, the response was that the church had "no duty" to help me or protect ward kids from an LDS-ldrshp-known-pedo.
I'm still here. No one's reached out.🤔

Recently argued in court that they had no duty to help a child whose father confessed to sexually abusing her, despite how easy it’d be to help or how serious the danger.

Ethical churches do not silence victims of sexual abuse, do not remove historians who write accurate books,
do not spy on members, and do not lie about their finances.
They also apologize when they make big mistakes.
