IPASA ANG ANTI-SCALPING ACT!
Nanawagan tayo ng agarang pagpasa ng ating panukalang Anti-Scalping Act sa gitna ng mga ulat na natatanggap ng ating tanggapan mula sa mga concertgoers tungkol sa napakataas na presyo ng reselling ng BTS concert tickets.
Hindi tama na pagsamantalahan ng mga scalper ang pananabik at paghihintay ng mga fans.
Layunin ng panukala na sugpuin ang abusive resale practices sa pamamagitan ng pagpapataw ng parusa sa mga indibidwal at organisasyong magbebenta ng tickets lampas sa itinakdang regulated price.
Layunin din nito na palakasin ang pananagutan ng mga ticketing platforms at event organizers sa pamamagitan ng mas mahigpit na monitoring at enforcement mechanisms.
Nagpapakahirap ang mga tunay na fans na ipunin ang pambili ng mga tickets na ito. Nagpapakahirap sila na mag-queue sa mga ticketing platforms para makabili. Lumalaban sila nang tama at patas, pero ninanakaw ng mga scalper ang oportunidad nilang makita ang mga iniidolo nila.

Fun fact: earlier this year, I was so fond of making paper stars, works everytime to relieve my stress. When Arirang tour was announced & PH was included I wrote my wish to see BTS in the PH stop to each colors of the paper before folding and I guess it really did a miracle 💜✨

Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan called on Monday for the swift approval of his proposed Anti-Ticket Scalping Act following reports of BTS concert tickets being resold at massively inflated prices.
Pangilinan said Senate Bill No. 1989 aims to prohibit ticket scalping, protect consumers from exploitation, and impose penalties on violators. He cited growing concerns from fans over resale prices reaching as high as P90,000 for the group’s upcoming 2027 Philippine concert.

I hope that those cancelled tickets were returned to the official site of ticketmaster and will be reopened soon for DESERVING ARMYS and not for the scalpers or for any under the table transaction between well known people and those who have connections to the organization.

Ticketmaster PH is cancelling orders that violate purchase limits (reportedly 2 tickets per account in some cases).
