No LoL, é tudo sobre wave- a famosa onda de minions.
Elas definem se você tá bem pra brigar um objetivo;
Se você pode fazer um dive;
Se você tem vantagem pra rotacionar.
Lembro bem quando tava no universitário e o meu primeiro coach me falou sobre isso. Mudou minha concepção de League of Legends pra sempre.
Achei esse post do Peter muito bacana, explicando conceitos que moldaram a INTZ da época dele, e que mudam uma partida quando bem aplicados.
Fica aí a dica para quem quiser entender mais (e aplicar nas ranqueadas, isso muda tudo REAL)

Some of the in game concepts: Freezes: When people talk about freezes in the West the idea is normally to deny resources, but one thing we were using even back in 2017 were 2 "small" freezes, a "positioning freeze" and a "tempo freeze". Positioning Freeze A positioning freeze is ensuring you are fighting neutrals or vision on a positive wave for you. Essentially with both t1 towers down, a wave will freeze on either line A, B or C. If you are fighting dragon as blue team you want the top wave to be at C when you are contesting positioning. Why? Because when you are contesting Dragon if you ever get low on the contest, you can choose to just give it up and trade aggressively with a favourable top wave. So if you know you want top wave at C with 45-60s before spawn and you have the wave at A with 90s, you just push. But if you have the wave at A with 150s you might choose to "freeze"/"stun" the wave or slow push it so the wave is at the right position on a favourable timer. If the wave is on your side of the river (and the game is reasonably close, not a blowout) you have control of the wave so you can choose when/how fast to push it. If you just mindlessly push the wave then it will go to the opponents side and they will be able to control where it will be when the neutrals are contested.
