He said, “My connection with them goes way back. It must have been around their debut. I went to a salon, and it was really noisy outside. They said an idol group had come, so I asked, ‘Who is it?’ and they said SEVENTEEN.” He mentioned the name of the salon, and Seungkwan and DK reacted, “It’s been so long since we went there,” “That was really when we were rookies.” Park Jungmin continued, “I asked things like, ‘If 17 people fill this place, how are they going to manage all of that?’ and ‘Who comes first?’ But they told me there weren’t actually 17 members.” DK added, “Usually when people hear SEVENTEEN, they think there are 17 members.” Park Jungmin said, “So I even asked, ‘Does that mean you’re all 17 years old?’ But that wasn’t it either. I later found out it meant 13 members, 3 units, and 1 team,that’s why they’re called SEVENTEEN.” He went on, “From that point on, I started paying attention to them. Since we went to the same salon, I ended up listening to their songs more quickly too.
