Nice gesture but Szobo should probably keep it strictly at the cleats exchange level. Vinicius Jr is a phenomenal player, no doubt about that but he also brings a lot of unnecessary drama with opposition fans and constant on-field theatrics. That kind of noise can easily become a distraction if it starts rubbing off on others. Szobo’s game is built on focus, composure and leadership in midfield. The last thing he needs is getting pulled into the circus that often follows Vinicius around. Appreciate the boots, keep the respect between players and leave the rest of the baggage where it belongs.
