It’s dangerous to celebrate or even give tacit approval to “I feel your pain” of the sort that Trump feigned it and I’m dubious that Citizens United would have been a winning issue for Dems this cycle, but obviously the broader point about messaging holds.

@ben_perreira @selema I can understand that but i think it was “radical, counter culture roots” in America is really limited to straight, white christian males with a few exceptions made for native Hawaiians. Woman still have to fight for equal pay. Skateboarding is more open & counter culture
