@tontonlove @jemelehill Agreed. The big outlier (other than losing Best New Artist to Sheena Easton) was “Give Me the Reason” losing to “Living in America.” Other nominees: Billy Ocean “Love Zone,” Oran ‘Juice’ Jones “The Rain,” Al Jarreau “Since I Fell for You.”

@jemelehill #Luther was operating in a competitive environment with a lot of R&B powerhouses. Some of those Grammy losses were to Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Bobby Brown, & James Ingram. It's something to look at those old nominee lists and think about how good music used to be.

@EaglesStrictly No. Midnight green represents the franchise’s culture shift. Love the kelly green at home though, but I wouldn’t be a fan of the road white version.
