“रोकते हैं तो मारते हैं।" “भूखों मर रहे हैं हम, तुमने हमारी जगह छीन ली, हमारे मकान भी छीन लिए।" ~आदिवासी प्रदर्शनकारी यह आधी अधूरे किश्तों की धमकी क्यों? एक ही बार में पूरा हिसाब चुकता कर दीजिए! एक काम कीजिए सरकार, देश के सारे आदिवासियों पर एक सामूहिक मुक़दमा दर्ज़ करिये कि उनका इस धरती पर जनम लेना ही सबसे बड़ा अपराध है। आख़िरकार! जब ज़मीनें ही अपनी नहीं रहीं तो उन पर रहने वाले इंसान कैसे अपने हो सकते हैं? इको सेंसिटिव ज़ोन की सीमाएँ, मूर्ख राजाधिराज के लिए रबर की पट्टियाँ हैं जिन्हें धनपशुओं की सहूलियत के हिसाब से जब मर्जी, जहाँ मर्जी, जैसे मर्जी खींचकर छोटा-बड़ा कर देते हैं! उदाहरण उड़ीसा में खनन वाला देख लीजिए! आदिवासियों, किसानों, मजदूरों, विद्यार्थियों और महिलाओं की चीखें इस नौटंकीबाज के लिए उत्सव का संगीत हैं। उसे बस अपनी झूठी वाहवाही और आरती उतरवाने का चस्का है।
