Before I start, this is my opinion and everything I have observed so far.
I will first start with Jungwon’s live. Let’s get one thing right. He was saying it for our wellbeing. Not once did he say he doesn’t like OT7 or to stop being an OT7 fan. He said he wants the fan wars to end, and genuinely, we all want this. Before all of this, we all were so united. Before I get to the fan wars, let me talk about OT6 and OT7.
See, being OT6 is completely fine, and being OT7 is also completely fine, but the problem is how we act with each other. We are constantly fighting or bullying each other. Because of some OT6 fans, the entire side of the fandom is being blamed because I have met some people who are OT6 but are so respectful towards OT7. But there are some OT6 fans who have crossed the line. They bullied us OT7 in all the ways imaginable. I don’t wanna name them, but we have been through hell. For OT7, there are many OT7 fans who are picking unnecessary fights with OT6 and also are bullying them, bothering the members. There are many OT7 fans who respect the decision of OT6 and don’t provoke them.
I want us all to stop fighting with each other and support who we like. As OT7, I am not forcing any OT6 to support us or anything. But we can all try and be nice to each other and stop fighting and bullying each other.
This part is mostly about the hints and the members (all 7 of them).
As we all have seen, the members have repeatedly been dropping hints that they want Heeseung back in the group, and if the members already accepted themselves as a six-member group, then why are they so sad, and why were they happy with the OT7 fan chant? It’s clear they miss how things were before. They were a family.
About the live.
The live was definitely forced because the fan wars were worse before. A 13-year-old girl was pepper-sprayed in the eyes for doing the OT7 fan chant. Why didn’t they take action for that? We all know HYBE is watching us, and they know every detail. The biggest thing is the timeline. The live was after the OT7 chant. That clearly shows that HYBE was not happy about this, and also, usually when Jungwon does a live, he always looks at the camera, but in this live, he was looking around more than usual, and we all know that the staff is always there watching them. He almost looked like he was trying to remember what to say, and you could also see tears in his eyes. This entire live felt off because of the timing and overall tone.
HYBE
I don’t understand what HYBE is trying to do. They never gave us a proper explanation of why Heeseung is leaving. Second of all, they are releasing OT7 content while trying to push the OT6 agenda. This company is not stupid. They are trying their best to demotivate us. The reason they made Jungwon do the live was to demotivate us and stop the boycott so they make money, which is working in their favour.
Now, this is a very weird theory of mine.
I think HYBE did this for negative publicity because if you look at all the big groups like BLACKPINK, BTS, and Stray Kids, they have this negative publicity around them that makes them go viral or draw attention. I think HYBE tried to do the same thing, but they took it too far, and also they used it as a distraction for their own crimes. Why I am saying this about the negative publicity is because, if you remember, LE SSERAFIM became very popular and viral after a member was kicked out, so I think HYBE tried to pull the same trick but in a different way, but it backfired on them. There is no reason to kick him out because he wants to go solo. Take, for example, Jungkook. He is a popular soloist despite being in the group, and he is also showcasing his talent. It’s not like the group is stopping him from showing his talent.
