Positive Correlation Lay All these guys struck out their last time facing Shohei this year and the bullpen also struck out 2 of them again. Shohei only needs 6 Ks and these guys need to be 4 of them. ❤️ if you tail! This is the easiest way to build your bankroll!

HIGHEST CONFIDENCE PLAY OF THE MLB SEASON. Matt Chapman is 0-11 against Yoshinobu Yamamoto with 7 strikeouts. Nothing is guaranteed in the MLB, but this is as close as it can get. A bit risky today, but I am almost 100% sure this will hit. Drop a ❤️ if you tail and follow for more!

Results are in! Shea Langeliers: Monster game with two home runs, a single, 3 rbis, and two runs. Couldn’t have read it any better. Ben Rice: A single with two walks and a run. Cash HRR, hits, and fantasy score. Another perfect read here as his only hit was off Kyle Bradish. Liam Hicks: A single off Andrew Painter and a walk. Other riskier plays: Illdemaro Vargas: Lost his hitting streak, Shota Imanaga was excellent yesterday. Take the loss and we move. Nick Gonzales: Great game as the Pirates scored 17 runs. That’s not a typo. He had 2 hits, two rbis, a run and a walk. Cash HRR, fantasy score, hits, total bases, etc. James Wood: Another great read as he owns Kyle Harrison, he had two singles. Cash HRR, total bases, and hits. Overall: 5/6 Overall profit: ~$100 or 10 units. Drop a follow if you want more MLB plays for today’s slate!

MLB Today. 5/2 These batters are in the best spots today. Shea Langeliers (OAK): Shea has quietly been one of if not the best catcher in the major leagues up to this point, and draws Slade Cecconi on a homestand against the Guardians. Shea has been red hot at the bat lately, recording a hit in 6 straight games and batting .326 (9th) this season. He has a great history vs Cecconi, with 4 hits on 6 plate appearances (.667 AVG) with a home run. Shea is batting 2nd today, meaning he is guaranteed to see a minimum of 4 plate appearances and may even see 5 with the total projected at 10.5 runs. This is a smash spot for Shea for hits, HRR, total bases, etc. Ben Rice (NYY): Ben Rice has been outstanding all year, giving even Aaron Judge a run for his money for best player on the team. This season, he’s batting .330 (8th) and leads the major leagues in OPS. He draws Kyle Bradish today, a below average pitcher with 1-3 record on a 4.20 ERA. Rice has also faced Bradish before, with 3 hits on 5 plate appearances, one of which was a home run. It gets better, as Rice is also excellent against the Orioles bullpen, who gave up 4 hits to the Yankees last night (including a single to Rice), having to expend their top 2 relievers in Albert Suarez and Tyler Wells after allowing 7 runs. An exhausted bullpen and terrible pitcher give a picture perfect matchup for Ben. I love this spot for hits, runs, rbi, etc. Liam Hicks (MIA): Liam Hicks has enjoyed a seriously good breakout season, leading the league in RBIs and batting .309 (20th). He’s batting 5th today, meaning he will have 4 batters in front of him with the chance to have runners in scoring position. He draws Andrew Painter of the Phillies today, an average to below average matchup dependent pitcher who has a 1-2 record with a 5.25 ERA. Hicks has never faced Painter before, but has 7 hits in 28 AB against the Phillies bullpen, and has a .443 slugging % against righties. I like this spot for Hicks and the Marlins in what could be a high scoring affair (Total runs projected at 9) Risky but playable spots: Illdemaro Vargas vs. Shota Imanaga (unstoppable force meets immovable object, Vargas riding a 24 game hit streak against a pitcher allowing a .171 BA) Nick Gonzales vs. Rhett Lowder (1/3 in career against, top 5 in major league batting average) James Wood vs. Kyle Harrison (3/6 w a HR against, but Harrison has a 2.28 ERA and has only allowed a .200 batting average all year) Drop a follow if this was helpful!

Some hitters in really good spots today. -Elly De La Cruz: Cruz has been exceptional with the bat to start the season, looking like his 2025 self minus the strikeouts. He has a hit in every game this series vs the Rangers against Mackenzie Gore and Kumar Rocker. Today, he draws Jack Leiter, a below average prospect who hasn’t panned out yet for the Rangers. Cruz already has one hit against him in two plate appearances and has a 30.8% hit rate against the Rangers bullpen. He’s hitting out of the 3 spot today, ensuring at least 4 plate appearances, and the books favor the game to have over 8 runs. He’s in a great spot to bet hits, runs, and total bases. -Brice Turang: Brice is of course one of the best hitters in the MLB, and his matchup does him a lot of favors. He draws Kris Bubic today, an average to below average pitcher, and Turang already has a hit against him in two plate appearances. He is batting leadoff today, and the total score is projected over 8 runs, meaning he may see 5 plate appearances. He is also solid against the Royal’s bullpen, with 11 hits on 33 plate appearances, one of which was a home run. I like this spot for him today. Brandon Lowe: A lot of people like Ryan O’Hearn today, a fellow pirate, but Lowe sneakily has a very good matchup. He draws the Orioles today against Chris Bassitt, who is a slightly above average pitcher, a former ace who has seen father time start to catch up with him. Lowe is batting from the two spot, meaning at least 4 plate appearances, and has a ridiculous 55.6% Hit percentage on 1.235 slugging. Don’t overlook the less popular batters. I love this spot for Lowe today. Comment “WRITEUP” if you want to see me do more player breakdowns! Drop a follow if you enjoyed this analysis!
