640x480 resolution, no real concept of shaders, SD analog TVs, no MSAA, generally no specular or bump mapping or normal mapping or any of the lighting and texture effects we associate with modern games. The hot new tech at the time was ✨mip mapping✨. We didn’t have cubemaps.
