Let's do some highlights from yesterday's gritty DH sweep at Lakeland... Game 1 ⚾️ Montgomery - 3-5, 5 RBI, 2 2B, 🚀 ⚾️ Hodgins - 3-5, 3 RBI, 2 2B ⚾️ Shevey - 3-4, 2B ⚾️ Kramer - 6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER

Our 3 players on the second team include 2 sophomores & 1 senior. Senior infielder Jacob Lorbecki gets 2nd team honors after leading the team in RBI. Sophomore outfielder Cam Carter led the team in hits & SB. Sophomore pitcher Tanner Buhlmann produced an excellent 1.273 ERA.

The Warhawks are Regional champions with a 9-1 win over Wauwatosa West. Peter Kussow threw a complete game 3-hitter, striking out 10 along the way. Jacob Lorbecki (1 for 4) & Cam Carter (2 for 4) had 2 RBI each. Sam Reichert tripled & PJ Hamel doubled in the win.

Arrowhead wins the resumed playoff game today over West Allis Central, 11-1 in 6 innings. Tanner Buhlmann & Nolan Buss teamed up to strike out 15 of 18 outs. Offensively, Wes Lindee (2 for 2; 2 RBI) led the way. Cam Carter, Issei Takahashi & Jacob Lorbecki all doubled.

WALK-OFF! Sam Reichert’s 9th inning single wins it for the Warhawks, 7-6, over KM! Jacob Lorbecki mashed, collecting 4 hits & 3 RBI. Cam Carter (2B), PJ Hamel (2 2B’s) & Brendan Foley each had 2 hits. Brayden Ramus was electric in relief, throwing 4.2 innings of 1-hit ball.

The Warhawks defeat Waukesha South on senior night, 8-3. Issei Takahashi had a 3-run home run & Josh Gilroy hit a solo shot in the win. Sam Reichert was perfect on the day, going 3 for 3 with 2 doubles. He also scored 2 runs & had an RBI. Jacob Lorbecki also collected 2 hits.

Last night the Warhawks won a late contest, 2-1, over Eau Claire Memorial. Tanner Buhlmann & Graiden Liethen teamed up to limit the Old Abes to 4 hits & 0 earned runs. On offense, Jacob Lorbecki singled in the go-ahead run. Carter Scott singled & hit the game-tying sacrifice fly.

Nolan Buss had an excellent start (5 IP, 0 ER, 2 H) as the Warhawks swept Waukesha West, 4-2. Issei Takahashi collected 3 hits. Jacob Lorbecki & PJ Hamel both doubled. Lorbecki, Wes Lindee & Carter Scott had multiple big plays in the field to aid the pitching.

Jack Roventini (5 IP, 4 H, 2 ER) & Graiden Liethen (2 IP, 0 H) combined to limit Waukesha West to 2 runs as Arrowhead beat the Wolverines, 6-2. Issei Takahashi (1B, 2B), Cam Carter (2 RBI) & Jacob Lorbecki had 2 hits each. Josh Gilroy tripled & PJ Hamel had a 2-RBI double.

The Warhawks bounce back to down Cooney, 10-4. Nolan Buss was electric, striking out 11 & scattering 3 hits in the complete game effort. Cam Carter went 3 for 3 with a double & 3 runs scored. Jacob Lorbecki collected 4 RBI. Issei Takahashi went 2 for 4. Arrowhead moves to 7-2.

Arrowhead falls to Oconomowoc, 11-10. The bats broke out in a big way. Jacob Lorbecki (2-3, 2B, 3B, 2 RBI) & PJ Hamel (2-4, 2B, 3B) led the way. Yamato Takahashi (2 RBI), Josh Gilroy & Carter Scott all doubled as the offense collected 14 hits.

The Warhawks win in the rain, topping Waukesha North, 5-1. Tanner Buhlmann was dominant (5 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 9K) & Jack Roventini pitched through a downpour to seal the win. Carter Scott had a huge RBI-triple & Jacob Lorbecki & PJ Hamel both doubled. Lorb also had 2 RBI.

NO HITTER! Brayden Ramus limits Kenosha Indian Trail to 5 baserunners (3 errors, 2 walks) & no hits in a complete-game shutout! Issei Takahashi, Jacob Lorbecki & Carter Scott collected Arrowhead’s only 3 hits. The Warhawks stand at 4-0 after the first week of the season.

Arrowhead opens its season with a 7-3 win over New Berlin Eisenhower. Cam Carter (2-4, 2B, 2 SB’s), PJ Hamel (2-3, 2B) & Jacob Lorbecki (2-2) did most of the damage on offense. Matthew Ortin had a booming double. Nolan Buss, Graiden Liethen & Carter held Ike to 3 hits.
