Would you support a constitutional Amendment to eliminate the position of the Lieutenant Governor in Kentucky? In our original Kentucky constitution, there was no position of Lieutenant Governor, and the President of the Senate (then called the Speaker of the Senate) was the person to serve as acting governor in case the Governor was unable to fulfill his duties. Currently, the Kentucky Constitution only gives two duties to the Lt. Gov: have a pulse, and serve as acting governor if the current governor steps down, is removed, or is otherwise incapacitated. We could go back to the original model. Further, Kentucky statute only gives the governor one other duty: sit on eight boards that other people could easily sit on (and this duty wasn’t even a requirement until 1980). The taxpayers of Kentucky pays the Lt. Governor at least $150k in salary, cover all travel, security, and meals/expenses, along with benefits such as a lifelong pension. This doesn’t include the costs of office space, extra staff, etc. Is this position a worthwhile use of tax dollars in your opinion? The way I see it, we have two options: eliminate the position through a constitutional amendment and return to the 1792 Constitutional Language regarding gubernatorial succession, or add duties to the Office to make it worth the tax dollars we spend on it. Which do you prefer, and if you prefer adding duties, what duties do you think the Lt. Gov should have?

I continue to believe President Trump was targeted by US intel agencies. 702 info swept up by FISA should not be used against Americans. Any search of this data collected without probable cause should only be used to target foreigners, not US citizens.

All of the evidence together proves beyond a reasonable doubt that Tyler Robinson killed Charlie Kirk. Video shows Tyler firing the weapon, the gun was recovered with his DNA, his family confirmed it belonged to him, and he admitted to the shooting. The evidence speaks for itself. Cases do not get much clearer than this. Open and shut.

Foreign intelligence powers should not be abused to spy on Americans. If probable cause exists to believe an American broke the law, the government must obtain a warrant to conduct a search. My FISA amendment will restore the Fourth Amendment rights of all Americans by ensuring they cannot be subjected to government surveillance upon the order of the secret FISA Court.
