Really REALLY happy with our onion ring. It’s easy to make turbot and langoustine taste delicious. It’s a bit more difficult to take an onion snack and make it heavenly- especially one inspired by fast food. 🫶🏻

@SOLAsoho I had this today. I am not a huge fan of dessert, but this was superb. I could eat this time & time again. The taste & mouth feel of the meringue is wonderful, taken to a higher level by the crisp sable base 👏🏻

Comfort. After a long meal, I want something comforting. Accordingly, the first dessert is a fairly classic take on a key lime pie, using sudachi, an almond sablé base & Swiss meringue (vastly superior to any other meringue imho). Finished with a red berry & verbena sorbet.

Just doing a little R&D on a twist on Île Flottante at the moment and I’ve just had enough steamed meringue to kill a small horse. If anyone needs me between lunch and dinner service I’ll be having a lie down in the PDR.

Another ridiculously good value lunch @SOLAsoho. Fine ingredients, cooked well and bouncing with flavour. New venison dish worth the price alone. Hat tip to server for brilliant cheese selection. Well paired wines too. Good as always to talk with @ChefVGGP

Excellent food from @LukasJuhaniak & team for lunch yesterday Trivet Restaurant, supported by very good service. The restaurant was packed - the effect of the second star!! 🌟 ⭐️

Excellent dinner #HumbleChicken every mouthful well thought out and prepared and matched with well chosen sakes/wines. Enthusiastic staff add to the experience and place at the counter allowed long chats with @SatoAngelo1 - for which I can only apologise chef.😬⭐️

A freelance food journalist wrote this. I’m used to it but the last sentence warrants a response. Abuse of kickstarter would be raising funds & either the project not happening or people not getting the things they bought. I do neither. Sorry for my relentless begging though.
