It’s her fault for not adding him to the policy. It costs money to add the spouse. They avoided paying that for years. Now she is dead.

My dad is driving to DC for the first time since my mom died in Jan and he hit a deer. He called @AAA_Travel for help and a tow & they asked to speak to my mother. He informed them she just died & they said he can’t use the policy then & left a 70 year old grieving man stranded

In addition if I'm a passenger in a vehicle that breaks down I can use my AAA membership for the person I'm with (Non Member)If his wife was always say the Passenger what's the difference. If the premium was paid help the person out.

@marcvelitrae @julia_doubleday @AAA_Travel Thank you. This is exactly right. It’s sad and inconvenient but he CLEARLY. Was not listed on the membership. AAA or any company cannot just say “ok, we believe you”and send a tow out to anyone. I hate when people do this, this one is not AAA fault, not even kind of.
