I issued an Executive Order prohibiting vaccine mandates by ANY entity in Texas. I also added the issue to the Special Session agenda. The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective, & our best defense against the virus, but should always remain voluntary & never forced.

@GregAbbott_TX I've always been a supporter but am so against everything you are doing right now. Put an end to being a dictator and let the schools/cities govern themselves! You are overstepping your bounds. Stop enacting laws/policies and then tie the hands that are meant to enforce them. 🤦🏻‍♀️
