At work someone complained I wasn’t festive for the 4th. I said yes I am, I’m dressed in black bc I’m mourning America and what it is supposed to be. I’m mourning freedom, my rights as a queer woman, and countless other things. So yes, I dressed for the occasion.

Today I learned how athletes feel in a trade. I was told I’m being transferred to another store starting the 24th. I cried for almost 2 hours in front of customers and my coworkers. But I kept working bc it’s my job and I have pride.

I won’t be able to make the game, but my brother will be there in my stead (with a dd) so treat him well. I’ll miss you @LARiotSquad but I’m working out how to be at the next. Love you guys. GIVE SD HELL!!!!!

@_LeslieJ I’ve been on 6 days a week for a while. Sometimes that means 10 days in a row. I need more staff. I’m so tired. I cover everything and my days are so long. Thanksgiving is a very long day for me at work. Then I have to pretend to be happy at to see fam when I just want to sleep.
