When the outgoing leader stays a part of that church community, they do so with a lot of intentionality, they're very clear around other people to say, "I'm not here for you to complain about the latest leadership decision because this person is my pastor. And I'm 100% for them."

We are given spiritual gifts because God has something for us to do, and given the fruit of the Spirit because there is a right way to do it.
