@brooksleefnclub @landonB_ @AaronGleeman I think they had the bud/bud light only promo on July 4th last year. The other "612" days included craft but only at gate 34. The previous years promos contained a lot of fine print. :-)

@TomBarnardOG In general, @Newsnation. Leland Vittert 's week night show, On Balance, is one of the most balanced in my opinion. Chris Stirewalt's Sunday morning show, The Hill, too.

I have watched zero national news the last couple of days. I cut a lot of one sided news reports on both sides out. I am much happier. Is there a national news show that just delivers the truth? I will keep looking.

@MattFinnFNC @seanmdav We had a church shooting of children in Mpls in early September of 2025. Kids and parents were attending Catholic mass as part of the first week of school. The kids at the church protest had to be terrified. I would have gone to the floor if I were there.

One of the victims of the St. Paul church says agitators prevented them from getting to their children, one thought it was a shooting, and others weren't able to leave.  One woman fell and was injured. Pulled from a federal affidavit dated 1/20.  •Victim 4 informed agents that members of their parish attempted to retrieve their children from the childcare area located downstairs, but the agitators were blocking the stairs, and the parents were unable to get to their children. •Victim 4 informed agents the aisles are already narrow to begin with, and the agitators who occupied the center of the sanctuary made it nearly impossible for parishioners to get out and leave.  •Victim 5 later expressed fear that the agitators may have guns underneath their jackets. Additionally, when the agitators began shouting, all the parishioner could hear was “shoot.” •Victim 4 recalled one agitator was threatening, aggressive, and intimidating towards parishioners. Additionally, this agitator was screaming and getting in people’s faces, to include women and young children. This agitator continued to scream in the faces of young children while they were crying. •Affidavit writes agitators: "forced parishioners to flee the church out of a side door, which resulted in one female victim falling and suffering an injury.

Here's a notable dynamic in Minnesota: Homan seemed to indicate some progress with Minnesota AG Keith Ellison about jails & ICE. Afterward, Ellison gives us a statement saying he made 'no deal' with Homan and wrote that he can't tell jails to co-op with ICE, but jails historically can do their own thing. The Sheriff's office in the most populated county, Hennepin County, tells us it's not in the process of making any changes. That will have to come from the state. On the same day as all of this, Governor Walz issues a proclamation for what? Buy local because ICE is hurting our economy.

@KatiePavlich I agree Walz could provide State Patrol or other state resources to create the buffer. I'm sharing a recent article regarding the staffing here of the Minneapolis PD. Even if motivated, I don't see that Frey's MPD has the staff. startribune.com/crime-in-minne…

Imagine if the local police had decided to help with crowd control. Again, this is on Walz and Frey.

@connellmcshane The MN fraud investigations may no longer be a national story, but the investigations are continuing here in MN as they have been for years.

It's reasonable to ask sanctuary jurisdictions to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. But at this moment they have too much invested in resistance.
The White House@WhiteHouse

🚨 President Donald J. Trump calls on Governor Walz, Mayor Frey, and every Democratic governor and mayor in the United States to cooperate with the Trump admin to enforce our nation’s laws, rather than resist and stoke the flames of division, chaos, and violence:

President Trump should offer to reduce the number of ICE officers in MN to fewer than 100. In return, MN’s leaders must promise to turn over illegals in MN jails and prisons to ICE. MN police must arrest violent illegals and turn them over to ICE. If MN won’t do it, they’re showing they’d rather harbor violent people who are here illegally, even if it means mayhem on their streets. If they want ICE to leave, give ICE a good reason to go.

@Rightanglenews Technically that’s not downtown. It’s the South Minneapolis neighborhood where G Floyd was killed. 38th and Chicago. It’s currently nicknamed George Floyd Square. The city is still planning what to do with it 5+ yrs later.
