It’s the main issues we saw in Fulham, Palace & Villa, to be honest. Passive high zonal press without a compact midfield & late jumps from the FBs. It’s been my main concern with having Carrick long-term, was even an issue at Boro. But this is a whole new level of crap.

Michael Carrick’s biggest criticism from Middlesbrough fans was that he waits too long to make changes. I don’t want a manager at United who is scared to be pro-active.
