Pre-covid feet vs my post-covid post-holiday feet 😭 The price of walking & not elevating my feet. The pain is horrendous, my feet/ankles are full of fluid & tender to touch. ‘Do more exercise’ they say. This is what happens if I stay on my feet! Veins & lymphatics fucked.

@gezmedinger A proper chamber is definitely the way to go. So much safer and more effective. (I know from personal experience & would never advise anyone to use the zip-up option.) I just wish I always had access to a proper chamber, as the improvements don’t seem to be permanent.

Some personal news. After recent medical tests and scans, I’m sad to announce that I’ve been diagnosed with liver and prostate cancer. Both conditions are inoperable but early stage and treatable. I have no symptoms, I feel fine, my prognosis is good and I remain positive and upbeat. Next year marks my 40th year in the radio industry. While undergoing treatment, I’ll be winding down my consultancy and training commitments but will remain involved with Fix Radio and Podcast Radio. I’m enormously proud of both. With a bit of luck, I’ll be spending a lot of time indulging in my travel passions and pursuing my ‘bucket list’ of exotic locations! Thank you for your prayers, support, friendship and kind wishes.
