@EnglishSimmer I’m on windows 10. Launching the game on an SSD and i have a 3060ti. So far the only real issue I had was the long load screen before the train scene. Gameplay has been smooth except for the occasional fps drop that last for maybe a second but goes back to 60fps immediately

those of you having major lag spikes and performance dips in paralives, are you playing mac or windows?
seen loads on mac even way above specs are struggling yet my windows is barely above minimum and its been alright so far but ofc would love to know if that's diff for you

I think people are failing to remember that the sims 4 base launch had NOTHING. Simmers are spoiled with 12 YEARS worth of content (and mods). Paralives is a small indie team with an early access game. Yes it feels bare but with time and support this game could really take off.

#Paralives doesn’t have enough content yet to keep you playing for long. An ‘eh’ start with franchise potential, but given how much it could learn from past lifesims, it feels underwhelming. Its giving ‘closed beta’. Hoping future updates push the game forward! Not worth it yet.

@limeebunnee The para creator is lacking in terms of items (as expected right now) but the customization is deep. Takes a min to get use to but once you get it down its very fluid. If youre a builder then you’ll have a blast. Its a little buggy and laggy but it’s early access so it’s expected

The difference is early access. The paralives team has said repeatedly that the game you’re buying is not the final product. EA charges you $5-$40 for *EACH* “FINISHED” product that are broken. You pay $40 for paralives once and get free content later. This is not the same.

@LifeisSean The actor they chose is age appropriate. Frank is suppose to be around 30 years old and the actor is 27. I’m sure decent facial hair and make up will make him look more in character.

Clearly you’ve never been around Latino men. Also, David never said anything racist in the games. Was he a sexist asshole? Absolutely, but there is nothing in the games that suggest he is racist whatsoever.
